ZAKARIA ISLAMIC ACADEMY (ZIA) WEEKLY MASHWARA/MEETING

Attendees: Mufti Saad, Kashif, Amir Akhtar, Mohammed Saleem, Zubair Shaikh, Toslim, Syed Rashid Noor, Emdad, Farrokh, Toslim

1. Construction Update:
   Mukhtar has made changes requested by Avi.
2. Maintenance:
   Old playground stuff was given away. Pest control for wasps and ants at the masjid completed.
3. Playground work:
   Trench work to be scheduled with Saleh.
4. Next Community Townhall:
   Next community townhall is scheduled for Sep 20, Sunday from maghrib to Isha Insha Allah.
5. Staff and Volunteer hours:
   It was proposed to maintain a calendar and for PTO.
6. Adopt-A- Road:
   Adopt a road is scheduled for August 16 at 700 AM.
7. Writing class:
   Writing class started and it had 10 students.
8. Weekday and Weekend Maktab:
   The classes will start after Labor Day. Flyer needs to be made.
9. Parking:
   Need to request community to follow parting volunteer’s instructions. Need more volunteers for parking.
10. Summer Hifz:
    Summer hifz completed successfully. Graduation for summer hifz and summer camp on August 13, 20226.
