ZAKARIA ISLAMIC ACADEMY (ZIA) WEEKLY MASHWARA/MEETING
AUGUST 4, 2026
Attendees: Mufti Saad, Kashef, Amir Akhtar, Mohammed Saleem, Zubair Shaikh, Toslim, Syed Rashid Noor, Emdad, Farrokh

1. Construction Update:
   Irfan is waiting for quotes from different companies.
2. Maintenance:
   Material that is not being used has been returned. Pest control for wasps and ants at the masjid is scheduled for Thursday.
3. Playground work:
   All the playground work is completed. Trench work must be scheduled.
4. Next Community Townhall:
   Next community townhall is scheduled for Sep 20, Sunday from maghrib to Isha Insha Allah.
5. Zoom and recording for Townhall:
   Having a zoom option and recording townhall will be discussed again.
6. Volunteer hours:
   Emdad, Mufti Saad and Kashef will work with volunteers and coordinate their hours.
7. Adopt-A- Road:
   Adopt a road is scheduled for August 15 at 1000 AM. Rain date is August 16.
8. Writing class:
   Writing class is started on Monday and will continue in August and fee will be collected from students for it.
9. Weekday and Weekend Maktab:
   In next meeting we will decide start dates for next year because of change of dates for LCPS.
