Construction Update:
Br Irfan gave detailed update . We are working with Green Way engineering for site plan (wetland mitigation). Greenway has asked our existing documentation which ZIA has provided. Based on that they will assess cost and timeline to complete site plan work and submit to LC.

For architectural plan Br Irfan has recommended Manassas based S2R architects for architectural plan. Br Irfan has also reviewed br Hariwan’s feedback about architectural design .

Based on feedback from Greenway, construction team will post on masjid wall schedule of possible deadline for site plan submission and LC approval .

Masjid Security: several options were discussed. Buying police car, hiring LC police security, hiring private armed security, training someone from community to get license etc, parent volunteers .
Private armed security is $25/$35 an hours with 4 hour minimum. Monthly cost approximately $5000/$7000 which we need to raise additionally.
Existing cost of traffic police for each Friday is already $283.
Based on community feedback it decided to pursue “buying police car”option as deterrent .

Board will discuss ZIA policy about video recording and ZOOM for official ZIA meetings.
