ZIA Town hall meeting minutes for March 22, 2026.
Assalamualaikum!
Alhamdulillah , I think we had another productive town hall meeting today
Thank you ZIA board members, Imam Saad hosting this meeting and community members for your active participation.
Please join me in welcoming brother Mohammed Earfan as our project manager. Brother Earfan will be guiding us through our masjid construction endeavor and we are excited to have his leadership and expertise on board. We are looking forward to working closely and achieving key milestone together including getting site plan approved within next 3 months (as brother gave us estimated timeline) and by next August submission of development plan InshAllah.
Here are some highlights from our town hall meeting.
-Brother Earfan will be leading our construction project
-We are in the process of addressing county feedback we received in last November. It is taking longer because of the wetland mediation
-Board recognizes the safety issues of our current structure, pest control, periodic cleaning, fire drill. Board will take action on these items accordingly and update in our next town hall inshAllah

• On coming Tuesday Board will discuss the date for next town hall meeting and post it on Zia Ansar group
• On coming Tuesday Board will also discuss accommodation for next year’s taraweeh
  -Discussed how you can get into the board. As per board, you need to be practicing muslim, join weekly board meeting every Tuesday between magrib and ishah
  -We will discuss the approval process of the public vs private event at ZIA
