ZAKARIA ISLAMIC ACADEMY (ZIA) WEEKLY MASHWARA

• Highschool:  Lightridge- jummah has been done by zia for now. Ibraheem will be the default jummah with other imams whenever they have time. Imam Saad will work on training kids to be able to give khutbah and salat. Weekly halaqa by Ibraheem will be done at lightridge on Thursday starting in November. Imam Saad spoke with the MSA student board to volunteer at ZIA, specifically encouraged them to assist in maktab, organizing the masjid, helping with events, flyers.

• Friday Family night: 150+ showed for the program. 100 men 50+ women. Arham read surah muddathir, imamsab gave the lecture, 5 dollar gift cards were given to the kids, food will be catered from a different place. Imamsab will continue with 40 ahadith of imam nawawi. Ibraheem will do the program this week, topic TBD. Food for this week is being arranged from Baba’s biryani by the community.

• Madani Masjid: Madani family program: 42 people showed. Starting this Thursday there will be a weekly durood halaqa. Next program will be done by Imam Humayun.

• Weekday Maktab: Weekday maktab: we are at capacity. More teachers needed for both girl’s and boy’s side. There will be a program this Saturday for the parents of the weekday maktab. Discussions need to have regarding maintaining the weekday and weekend maktab programs in unison
