ZAKARIA ISLAMIC ACADEMY (ZIA) Town Hall Meeting

Meeting date: September 28th, 2025
Location: 26243 Gum Spring Rd, Chantilly VA 20152
Attendees: Three ZIA Board Members, Imam, Community Members

Notes/Points are taken by Brother Toslim.

-Going forward we will have quarterly town hall meeting. Next is on Dec 14th, 2025.
 
-Every meeting minute will be posted on ZIA website and on ZIA Ansar chat with action items.
 
-Flyer will be posted on ZIA website and ZIA ansar chat for awareness 
 
-Board asked for volunteers are different activities. Surveyors Business card was shared by Br Nazrul, with the board and based on the need, after next Tuesday meeting, board will send email requesting surveyor to move forward
 
-Board is actively searching for a backup teacher for full time Tahfeez program. Parents expressed concern  and we need replacement ASAP.
 
-Discussed board member selection process (future topic). Community has faith in the current board to continue with structure approval.
 
-ZIA quarterly expenditure will be posted on the noticeboard (only).
